We collect information only as necessary to provide our services:

Customer Booking Data: When you book a session, we collect your name, email, phone number, and physical address for the purpose of contracting and billing.

Guest Delivery Data: For guests using the booth, we collect phone numbers or email addresses only if they choose to receive their digital media via text or email.

Biometric Data (Facial Mapping): Our booths utilize AI software to apply digital filters. This involves the temporary processing of “facial geometry.”

3. Illinois Biometric (BIPA) Disclosure & Consent

In accordance with the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA):

Purpose: Facial mapping is used strictly for real-time digital filter placement (e.g., placing virtual “sunglasses” on a face).

No Retention: We do not store, save, or “fingerprint” your biometric data. Once the photo is rendered and the session ends, the facial geometry data is permanently deleted from the hardware’s volatile memory.

Third-Party Disclosure: We do not sell, lease, or trade biometric information to any third party.

4. SMS and Communication (TCPA Compliance)

If a guest opts to receive their photo via SMS:

The guest provides express consent to receive a one-time automated text message.

We do not use these numbers for marketing unless a guest explicitly opts into a separate “Newsletter” or “Promotions” list.

Opt-Out: Guests may reply STOP to any message to prevent future communications.

5. Third-Party Service Providers

We use trusted third-party partners to operate our business:

Payment Processing: All payments are handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card details.

Financing: Klarna and Afterpay manage their own data collection for financing; please refer to their respective privacy policies.

Digital Delivery: We use independent photobooth software for QR and SMS delivery. These providers are prohibited from using guest data for their own purposes.

We implement industry-standard encryption to protect your data. Under various state laws, you have the right to:

Request the deletion of your contact information from our logs.

G&U Studios Liability Disclaimer: Our website and booking platform are maintained by G&U Studios. While they ensure the site is secure, they do not have access to or control over the guest data collected at physical events via third-party booth software.
